Barbara Hepworth's wooden carvings have been...a pleasure to see ( an supposedly, to touch, if only they had permitted that....)

I don't usually find myself attracted to sculptures/carvings made the conventional way, but this piece -inspired by the Cornish caves - really struck me with both its fragile and robust shape. In comparison to Alexander Calder's signature 'installations', Hepworth seems to focus on the internal tension of an object, while Calder seems to focus on the tension between the object and its surroundings (personal opinion).
